About Us

Well this is the place that you are suppose to write something about yourself and often times I find it difficult to know what to say.

I am Lady Patty and am your host for this site "Plb Designs"  which has been around for years !!

We started out years ago, (almost scary to think how far back) and were in a variety of different things from web sets given away, to tubes created and given away.

Come to think about it, I give everything away.  Why?  because I enjoy my computer time, my graphic time, and everything that comes with it. 

I hosted websites for 10 years at Plb Designs Hosting but got out of it when my business here at home got busy.  I have a professional business here in my home, and this past year it really took off.

This is besides my embroidery business.  My professional business is doing gel sculpted nails, facials, pedicures, manicures, waxing and it keeps me busy daily, with the exception of Sunday and generally Monday.  (my two days off)  That business is called Plb Nails and it is a passion of mine.

Four years ago I lost my mother to alzhimers, and two years ago she passed away.  I had taken care of her for two years and it was very painful to loose her.  I lost my desire to be on the net, do anything on the net, I stopped making tubes, web sets for a long time.  I even had someone whom I thought was a friend telling me that I needed to "get over it" She even gave me her graphics to do something with but I never did.  I just exhisted in email and the hosting business for about a year and a half. 

Then one day I met a lady on the net and we got along instantly.  She is a wonderful person and I love her dearly even if she does live in Iowa oh so far away from me.  I live in Indiana.  Maybe one day we will be able to get together.  But we started talking every day via skype and then the telephone off and on, and with her encouragement and willingness to teach me digitizing I got interested in embroidery. 
  My so called friend had tried to get her to not teach me for what every reason she had, and lord only knows why.  But Barbie did not listen to her and she taught me anyway.  She got me into the Wilcom software, and my interest peaked more and more as I learned.   We trade.  I make her zen cart templates if she needs them and she teaches me embroidery, makes canvas bags for me, doggie coats for my Min Pin (got to get her to make a new one for Angel) just to mention a few.  She is just a gem and a true friend.  Lately we have both been busy enough that  we have not talked for a few days.............  she busy with her business Canvas House, and Stitch N Mouse.

Now here we are today, and I love to digitize, and I love the complicated things.  I love to create them and give them away. 

Will I ever sell them?  I don't know, and right now I don't worry about that.  With the economy what it is, I prefer to just give my designs away and I will tell you it gives me pleasure to know that others can be creative with what I have  provided them with.  That is all the payment that I need.

I really don't know what else to tell you.......... I may or may not go back to tubes, I will be starting machine cross stitch soon and web sets that I will also give away........... outside of that?  well only time will tell !!!
